Cases

1

STEP 01

TRY TO SOLVE IT AT LOCAL LEVEL!

Gather all the relevant information, read the XPP and contact the person who opened the case. Then contact all the parts involved in the situation (individually) and make a proposal!

2

STEP 02

LOCAL SOLUTION HAS FAILED? ECB/MC THEN!

If the situation has not been solved at local level, then you will need to raise a case. ECB/MC will evaluate the case, assess its legibility, contact all parties involved in the situation, re-check the violations to the XPP, search for clarifications and re-negotiate solutions together with the LCs and the corresponding ECB/MC.

3

STEP 03

UNSUCCESSFUL? STILL WITH ECB/MC!

If the negotiations at national level fail, ECB/MC will fill in the "Official Case Application" and send it to the counter entity. This document has relevant information regarding the case, including proofs and possible solutions – and, once sent, the counter entity will have a week to reply to it. Lastly, ICB will participate in the arbitration of the solution.
